Brian Lapin, a Smittcamp scholar who graduated with a master’s degree from Fresno State,  joins the Cen Cal Sports Board of Directors with over 10 years of experience in produce sales.  Brian has been involved with produce in some capacity since his retirement from baseball 13 years ago and for the last 10 years has primarily been a salesman and an account manager.  The main commodities he sells are Kiwi, Limes, Figs and Persimmons and his company Catania Worldwide is constantly looking to branch out and into new items all the time.

When Brian isn’t working, he is with his wife and two boys and is always on the go.  Whether it is basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, wiffle ball, skateboarding, rollerblading, biking or basically any other physical activity, he and his family love to do it all.  He is an avid sports fan and competitor and looks to share that with not only his family, but with many of the youth that this organization reaches.
